After that, analytical meditation. What is Buddha? What is self? I reflect on emptiness — the ultimate reality — and altruism. All human beings are the same: we all want happiness and we do not want suffering. Then the treadmill, jogging for 40 minutes. If you hold the rail firmly you can recite a prayer and meditate too. But you must take care or you might fall off!

I was asked whether a gluttony is a sin?

Usually we use word “Gluttony” regarding eating and drinking but it does not have to do with overeating. It is excess in anything. Do you remember: “He is a glutton for punishment.” that means persistence in a thing where he gets harmed, but yet he perseveres in it.

Gluttony and all its associations – a very deadly sin. Deadly towards others, and deadly toward self. Restrict you desires – them the cause of all your sufferings.

“We suffer because we desire” – The Buddha.
